Showcasing a range of new and existing devices, Sennheiser outlines its current and future plans for Unified Communications and remote working
Marlow, United Kingdom, 20th February 2014 – Leading audio specialist Sennheiser is pleased to announce its attendance at the Connected Business Expo, the UK’s premier collaboration and communications technology event that takes place at the Olympia in London on 4-5 March 2014. Unveiling an exciting new range of products and demonstrating some of the class-leading devices in its range of Unified Communications headsets, visitors will have the opportunity of being the first to experience new products from its 2014 range, attend an informative seminar on the future of technology within Unified Communications and enter a competition to win limited edition headphones.
The first of two new devices on display is designed for mobile Unified Communications business professionals and is best described as a “conference call in a briefcase“, capable of handling both personal and group conferences with an emphasis on convenience and portability. This is the Sennheiser Speakerphone, optimised for major softphone brands featuring premium quality HD sound, a dedicated multimedia function and superb voice clarity, representing the very best of Sennheiser’s sound heritage and design. Never before seen in the UK, visitors will get chance to see the very first samples, which will be available for demonstrations and testing on the day.
Sennheiser will also be unveiling the Mobile Business Series Pro (MB Pro), a series of premium single-sided and double-sided Bluetooth headsets all of which feature Sennheiser voice quality and sound-enhancement profiles, ultra noise-cancelling microphones for perfect transmission, noise-dependent volume control and up to 15 hours talk time. Additionally UC variants in the series come complete with a Sennheiser CH 20 MB charger stand for added convenience and space saving, with the latter optimised for Microsoft Lync with integrated call control and USB connector.
Another show highlight includes the ultra-slim PRESENCE™ UC Bluetooth intelligent headset for Smartphones, which seamlessly adapts to different environments to deliver the best possible sound whether calling from a noisy office, a quiet room or a windy car park. Featuring ActiveGard® protection against acoustic shock, seamless multi-connectivity and up to 10 hours talk time, the PRESENCE™ UC offers class-leading performance and clarity with an ultra light design.
Finally, the Sennheiser CENTURY™ series of wired headsets offer the ultimate in comfort and convenience, with ultra noise-cancelling microphones for superbly accurate operation and enhanced durability through premium construction that includes leatherette ear-pads for sustained comfort during long-term use, stainless steel hinges, brushed aluminium parts and Kevlar cables.
In addition to the products on display and a first look at the innovative Speakerphone and MB Pro series, a seminar with Sennheiser Product Manager Brian Brorsbøl will be held at 1.30pm on Tuesday 4th March to discuss the rise of remote working, working from home, hot-desking and other emerging practices. Underlining the importance of mobile office devices in a changing climate, attendees will have the opportunity to discover how Unified Communications are a key part of this evolution, learn about the range of benefits for organisations and the importance of quality headsets to facilitate its growth.
All attendees to the Sennheiser stand will have the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw to win a limited edition pair of MOMENTUM headphones.
