Sennheiser to Showcase the Power of Mobility at Upcoming UC Expo 2016
Get the ‘Sennheiser Experience’ through a range of new products and a class-leading portfolio
Marlow, United Kingdom, 6th April 2016 – Sennheiser, a leading provider of premium headset and speakerphone solutions, has announced its attendance at the upcoming UC Expo 2016 (Stand F604), where the ‘power of mobility’ will be demonstrated first hand through its range of Unified Communications optimised devices.
Taking place on 19-20 April at the Olympia in London, UC Expo hosts key players in Unified Communications and Collaboration, helping companies to deliver commercial advantages through technologies that enable smarter working and a truly connected business.
Sennheiser will be headlining with two of its newest products: The latest enhancement to its PRESENCE™ Mobile Series of Bluetooth headsets and its new TeamConnect Wireless comprehensive conferencing system.
PRESENCE™ is Sennheiser’s award-winning series of mobile headsets for business professionals, boasting superior sound quality, outstanding comfort and the untethered freedom of wireless. The product line has been enhanced to more effectively reduce background noise even in the most challenging outdoor environments, such as in a moving vehicle, or in high-wind situations. The headset models incorporate three high-end digital microphones, and take advantage of Sennheiser’s sophisticated noise cancellation features including the Own-Voice-Detector. This advanced technology immediately adjusts to provide optimal voice intelligibility when the user’s voice is detected, while reducing background noise, including subtle distractions from keyboard sounds or rustling paper.
Sennheiser will also be showcasing TeamConnect Wireless, the first go anywhere, portable wireless conferencing solution for up to 24 participants that can be used by anyone, anywhere. The stylish portable solution is made up of four units – one master and three satellites that are wirelessly linked by a DECT connection. It provides unmatched ease of use and offers cutting edge connectivity that fits seamlessly into the independent, “bring your own device” ethos of the most fast-moving and flexible of modern workplaces. Users can quickly connect their own Bluetooth smart device or computer wirelessly, with NFC making pairing with compatible devices simple. Wired connections are also possible via USB – ideal for web or video conferencing via a computer – or jack cable, so it can readily fit in to a broad range of hardware set-ups. You can also merge additional callers into a conference at any point by simply connecting another device, thanks to support for multiple simultaneous audio channels.
The core focus that brings all of this technology together is ‘mobility’. Modern office workers have seen a change in behaviour, with more employees working out of the office through mobile devices and cloud services. This dynamic shift and increasing need for enhanced communications demands flexibility without compromise, whether communicating through a mobile phone, tablet, PC or desk phone.
Sennheiser’s full range of wired and wireless headsets will be on display, featuring superiour sound quality, wearing comfort and quality design that enhance the unified communications experience. Visitors will be able to experience the PRESENCE™ Bluetooth headset, portable and stylish Speakerphone, powerful MB Pro for UC business professionals and Culture Plus, a headset series specifically designed to activate the full potential of UC in the workplace. All products are certified for compatibility with major UC providers and optimised for Skype for Business on both Microsoft Windows and MAC.
Visitors will also be able to enter an exclusive competition – ‘identify the sound’ – to win a pair of award-winning MOMENTUM headphones. Sennheiser’s team of experts will be on hand throughout to assist with user profiling and answer any questions about its extensive portfolio.
UC Expo will be a real chance to ‘Experience Sennheiser’, and discover the sound leadership, quality design and user focus that is synonymous with the brand that has been shaping the future of audio for the last seven decades.
