The PR Room and its clients celebrate finalist status in
PCR’s Women of the Year awards
Hot on the heels of double finalist status in PCR’s ‘Top Channel Tech PR Gurus’ feature, The PR Room is at it again with two of its PRs also reaching the final stages in the ‘PR Powerhouse’ category of the PCR ‘Women of Year’ awards 2016. Sarah Chard, Founder at The PR Room, and Michelle Cross, Account Manager, were once again successful in becoming finalists after a busy year in the UK technology channel.
In addition, two of The PR Room’s clients are also finalists: Lucy Lincoln, Senior Channel Marketing Manager from leading consumer security company, BullGuard, is a finalist in the ‘Creative Marketeer’ category, and Jane Craven, Sales Director at premium headset manufacturer, Sennheiser, a finalist in the ‘Sales Brilliance’ category.
Celebrating its third year, the PCR ‘Women of the Year’ awards was created to acknowledge the trail-blazing female leaders of the industry and to recognise their achievements in an extremely competitive market.
Having founded The PR Room in 2002 and grown it into one of the UK’s leading technology PR agencies, Sarah’s extensive experience and excellent media contacts have helped her to build an enviable reputation in the industry.
Michelle joined The PR Room four years ago, and since then her enthusiastic approach and close relationships with clients has made her one of its most valued members. Her relationships with key media regularly help to create unique opportunities, and she has become a vital part of the team in securing first class coverage for The PR Room’s clients.
“For both Michelle and I to have been chosen as finalists is fantastic, but to achieve it twice in quick succession is such a proud moment for The PR Room,” said Sarah Chard, Founder at The PR Room. “Many congratulations also to both Jane Craven and Lucy Lincoln. I can’t wait for what promises to be a fantastic awards ceremony!”
The PR Room would like to offer a massive thank you to all those who have recognised the hard work that its members have put in over the last year. Good luck to all finalists!
PCR Women of the Year 2016 will take place on Friday October 14th at the Sway Bar in London.
