Fleet Source to exhibit at Freight in the City Expo 2017
Visit stand S12, talk with experts about Fleet Source’s FORS approved driver training, and find out about LoCITY Driving
Letchworth, October 2nd, 2017 – Fleet Source, a leading provider of unrivalled training for the road transport industry, will be exhibiting at the 2017 Freight in the City Expo on the 7th November at Alexandra Palace, London
The third annual Freight in the City Expo will take place on Tuesday 7th November at Alexandra Palace, London. This year sees the popular event move into the Great Hall as more vehicles, equipment and technology emerge onto the market to make urban deliveries cleaner, safer and quieter.
This year’s expo will also be hosting Transport for London’s LoCITY progress event. LoCITY aims to increase understanding and uptake of low emission commercial vehicles.
Fitting in line with this is Fleet Source’s FORS and DVSA approved LoCITY Driving course. It has been designed to help the commercial fleet sector reduce its impact on the environment and road network, and to improve road safety.
“We are thrilled to be involved in this year’s Freight in the City Expo,” said Nick Caesari, Managing Director at Fleet Source. “The event provides a great opportunity to share our commitment to helping the commercial sector to reduce it’s impact on the environment. As London grows, so does traffic congestion and air pollution. This has a major and damaging impact on public health. Nearly 9,500 people die early each year in London because of poor air quality. Our LoCity Driving course features classroom-based modules to help drivers and transport managers reduce the environmental impact of commercial vehicles.” Caesari concluded.
Fleet Source would like to invite visitors to stand S12 to talk to its experts about the course and to find out more information on subsidised places for FORS members. Fleet Source will also be able to discuss some of their other driver training courses to help delegates meet their training requirements, including Safe Urban Driving, Van Smart and TruckSmart, which are all FORS Approved.
