Fadata Strengthens Leadership Team to Support Expansion.

Insurance software solution provider, Fadata, is pleased to announce the appointment of Willehalm Söderqvist as its new Director of Product, Strategy and Ecosystems. Fadata is reinforcing its commitment to helping insurers unlock practical value from AI through its insurance core software solutions, actively recruiting for new roles as it continues to expand.

In his new role, Willehalm will lead Fadata’s Product Management, Strategy, Ecosystems and AI initiatives, while overseeing the continued evolution of the INSIS product roadmap. Working closely with customers and partners, he will help shape the next generation of Fadata’s solutions, ensuring innovation remains aligned with the changing needs of insurers navigating digital transformation and AI adoption.

Willehalm joins Fadata with nearly two decades of international experience spanning enterprise transformation, financial services, product management, and data-driven innovation. Throughout his career, Willehalm has built a reputation for translating business needs as well as AI and data strategies into practical, scalable products. His expertise centres on product management, enterprise data platforms, AI and analytics, governance and SaaS delivery, particularly within highly regulated financial services environments where organisations are seeking to turn AI ambition into measurable business outcomes.

Commenting on his appointment, Willehalm Söderqvist says: “AI is rapidly changing what insurers can achieve, but long-term success depends on combining technology with strong product thinking, trusted data, and close collaboration with customers. It’s an exciting time to become a member of the Fadata team. Together, we can marry market insight, product innovation, and strategic expertise and hopefully lead the future of insurance. I really look forward to working with our customers and partners and helping them to progress their businesses, and take part in the AI revolution in insurance and in Fadata.”

Rasmus Lynge, Chief Product & Technology Officer at Fadata, adds: “With decades of industry knowledge and market driven innovation, Fadata is perfectly positioned to lead insurers into the era of the advice economy, providing the critical industry knowledge and expertise to support clients to make the right technology decisions. For example, choosing AI responsibly to create business value while keeping abreast of the changing AI landscape and tackling compliance, security and data safeguarding in the current geopolitical climate. With this in mind, Willehalm will undoubtedly be an asset, bringing a fantastic combination of product leadership, enterprise transformation expertise, and AI experience. His ability to connect strategy with execution, while navigating the complexities of highly regulated financial services, will be invaluable as we continue evolving INSIS and expanding the AI capabilities for our clients.”
