Get ready for National Baking Week with Beurer’s kitchen gadgets
Greater Manchester, England, 8th October 2013: It’s official – the UK is baking mad! Thanks to shows like The Great British Bake Off and MasterChef, the trend for cupcakes and a reignited love for afternoon tea, baking has become a national activity again. With National Baking Week kicking off on the 14h October, we’d like to share some of our favourite Beurer baking gadgets and tools with you.
Beurer KS41 Measuring Jug Scale – £34.99
If you’ve got a smaller kitchen, like celebrity chef Rachel Koo, multi-purpose items are a wonderful thing. This Measuring Jug Scale has three functions – you can weigh in the jug, measure amounts AND keep things fresh with the jug lid once you’re done. We love gadgets that save you time AND washing up.
This practical Beurer KS41 digital model features a removable jug and graded measure that lets you easily calculate capacity and weight thanks to its 2.5 litre capacity. The KS41 also converts the weight of liquids into a volumetric measurement.
Available from Amazon. Further information is available from the Beurer website.
Beurer KS53 Mixing Bowl Scale – £34.99
If you like the idea of the Measuring Jug scale, you’ll love the idea of the Mixing Bowl Scale. Based on the same concept, the Mixing Bowl scale enables you to measure both liquid and solid ingredients in a removable bowl. The mixing bowl can be detached from the digital scale, so you can use them together or separately.
The scale comes with an LCD display that provides the weight of the ingredients put into the mixing bowl in 1g graduations. The KS53 will also convert the weight of liquids into a volumetric measurement. The bowl itself has a 5kg capacity and is easy to detach from the scale for cleaning.
Available from Amazon. Further information is available from the Beurer website.
Beurer KS49 Kitchen Scale – £39.99
Our love of multi-purpose products extends to the standard kitchen scale. Our KS49 Kitchen Scale displays time, date, temperature, humidity and weight – all in one stylish gadget. It comes in Apple, Peach, Berry, Blue and Yellow, so there’s a style for every colour scheme.
The scale has built in modern touch key operation, and an extra large digital display. You can also hang it on the wall, as a kitchen clock and to save room.
Available from Amazon. Further information is available from the Beurer website.
Beurer KS69 Kitchen Scale and Chalk Memo Board – £49.99
Sometimes a product comes along, and you can’t quite believe it hasn’t already been invented. The Beurer Kitchen scale and chalk memo board falls into that group. The stylish scale works like a standard scale – but you can also write on the surface with a piece of chalk. Hang it on your wall as a memo board, then pop it on your kitchen surface and turn the display 180 degrees to do your weighing.
If you’re weighing and measuring, it’s a great way to jot down what you’re doing as you go. The generously sized display (8 x 3 cm) also lets you know the time.
Available from Amazon. Further information is available from the Beurer website.
Beurer KS56 Kitchen Scale – £59.99
A stylish design is just as important now as great functionality, and the Beurer KS56 brings the two together nicely. The large stainless steel dishwasher safe bowl sits in the cut out circle of the scale base, meaning it looks just as stylish together or separately. You can use it to weigh wet and dry ingredients. The black illuminated LCD display with 20mm digits is beautifully clear, so you can carry out your baking as quickly as possible (leaving you with more time to enjoy the fruits of your labour!)
