Sennheiser appoints The PR Room to head up PR for its Sennheiser Communications division
Marlow, United Kingdom, 18th February 2014 – Sennheiser, a global specialist in consumer and professional audio, is pleased to announce the appointment of The PR Room, one of the UK’s leading technology PR agencies, as part of a continuing drive to increase market penetration in the UK.
The PR Room will take charge of PR for Sennheiser Communications, a leading manufacturer of premium headset solutions, to promote its professional telecoms devices both to the IT and telecoms channel and to new and existing users of headsets. The PR Room was chosen due to its 13 years of experience in this industry, which includes a strong telecoms and IT background and an extensive and enviable list of contacts within these sectors.
“As a sector that is seeing increasing interest globally, we have a strong focus on maximising our channel potential and improving UK penetration in 2014 and beyond,” said Sennheiser UK PR Manager Victoria Chernih. “We’re confident that we can achieve our goals with the help of such an experienced and knowledgeable partner in The PR Room, and look forward to a number of exciting developments over the coming year”.
“Sennheiser is a global giant in the audio industry and we’re delighted to be able to work together to promote its Sennheiser Communications brand,” said Director of The PR Room, Sarah Chard. “To be part of such an important and burgeoning sector and to represent such a respected global brand is a very exciting prospect, and we are very much looking forward to increasing brand awareness, market presence and more importantly sales volumes in the UK.”
The Sennheiser range includes traditional telephony headsets as well as UC optimised headsets for both wired and wireless application, with current distribution partners including Nimans, Tech Data, Westcon, Westcoast and Corptel UK. Its state-of-the-art hardware is a combination of high-end audio and sound reproduction together with the miniaturisation of advanced digital processing technology alongside hearing healthcare specialists William Demant (Oticon), resulting in a versatile array of applications for all types of communication with no compromise on quality.
Acoustic technicians naturally demand both the very highest quality and equipment they can rely on, day in, day out. We’ve already seen how Sennheiser has been the music industry’s number one preference for decades – remember that some of the world’s top artists, from Katy Perry and Pink to Labrinth, Muse and Ed Sheeran, use Sennheiser professional products, at times both in the studio, and for their spectacular live performances.
