When your young child has a fever, it can be a challenge to get them to stay still long enough to take their temperature. The Beurer JFT90 contact-free infrared thermometer<\/a> measures body temperature entirely without skin contact and even works whilst your baby or toddler (or older) are asleep. Simply hold the device several centimetres in front of the forehead and by means of a sensor, the emitted warmth is received from the skin\u2019s surface. When the measurement is complete, the thermometer emits an audible beep that indicates it’s ready to be read on the large, blue illuminated digital display. Should you or your family experience a very high temperature, the thermometer is equipped with a handy fever alarm which alerts you to the fact you should seek medical help.<\/p>\n
