The Award was presented by special guest host Jeff Stelling, presenter of Gillette Soccer Saturday and live football and Award Sponsor the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.<\/strong><\/p>\n\u201cWith this \u2018TRIP\u2019 Initiative, Fleet Source has developed something entirely new to the road transport training market: the UK\u2019s first Terrorism Risk and Incident Prevention programme, which is deserving of the Training Programme of the Year Award,\u201d says Ruth Edwards, Talent in Logistics Event Manager.<\/p>\n
TRIP has been designed so that commercial fleet operators, managers and drivers can be educated on the risks of terrorism, the nature of the threats that they may face and a range of safety precautions they should implement to significantly reduce the possibilities of their vehicle being hijacked or stolen and used in a terrorist incident, which could potentially result in saving lives.<\/p>\n
